Wood sculptures

Previously I had made pictures in which a recurring feature was a crack. I wanted to realise this as a sculpture. As I had very little money at the time, I used waste cuttings from a carpenter and leftovers from the production of veneer wood.

A cookbook from an international publisher from the 70s about Portuguese cuisine. A bit yellowed and with photos that were not really appetising. For me, reason enough to paint them off and invent more on this topic.
